Delay the payoff behind steps, friction, and decisions
Kinda makes you a little queasy I'm sure. But founders aren't dumb. It's hard to see your product the way a new user does. I've seen many founders assume that they know their product because they've "experienced the same problems," yet somehow their product is still shooting blanks. Conversions and retention rates are sliding down like sledding down Mt. Everest on a winter's day.
You don't read about the magic with great products. You experience it. It's like a first kiss. 🤌
