Hey, {{first_name | product-preneur}}!

Anthropic just raised $30 billion.

Not to replace you. To replace everything around you.

The copy, the code, the logo, the MVP. Claude can generate all of it. That's the point. That's the product.

There is exactly one thing a $380 billion AI company cannot train a model to produce.

Your story.

Why it matters: AI just flattened the skill floor. Average is now worthless. If your only edge is "I know how to do the thing," that edge is gone. The only moat left is a documented human brand, built in public, with real stakes attached.

March was a blur… I went belly button deep into AI experimentation and I'm still in it. Picked up Cursor and v0 by Vercel. Full “vibe” coding mode (still hate that name), which I thought sounded ridiculous right up until v0 had a front end appearing in real time and I forgot what skepticism felt like.

I also left ChatGPT and moved my whole setup to Claude. We're best friends now.

But none of that is my brand though. My brand is the scattered brain. The transparency about what's working and what isn't. The decision to document the mess instead of cleaning it up first.

AI can read the entire internet. It cannot generate your specific lens, built over years of being exactly you. Skynet isn't coming for that. Not yet.

Brewers' Bulletin

Every week, the Leak Ledger tears down the top products launching on Product Hunt. Not the flops. The ones with real traction. First impression, conversion, friction, retention, revenue readiness, scored and dissected so you can see exactly what's working and steal the moves before everyone else catches on.

This week's three:

Agentplace: 31/50 | Tobira: 26/50 | Littlebird: 35/50

All three had users ready to pay more than they were being asked. None of them had a pricing page that reflected it. Builders are more comfortable shipping than charging. That's the leak. It's free. Grab it below.

How Jennifer Aniston’s LolaVie brand grew sales 40% with CTV ads

The DTC beauty category is crowded. To break through, Jennifer Aniston’s brand LolaVie, worked with Roku Ads Manager to easily set up, test, and optimize CTV ad creatives. The campaign helped drive a big lift in sales and customer growth, helping LolaVie break through in the crowded beauty category.

Potion of the Week

Your human origin story is a conversion asset. Most founders are leaving it in a junk drawer.

  • Founder-led growth is outperforming paid acquisition for solo products right now. Not because it's trendy, but because AI has made polished, anonymous brands invisible.

  • This shows up directly in your revenue. Your hero headline, your follow-up email, your public proof. Call these conversion levers, not content strategy.

  • Pick one and use it this week!

Your Hero Headline

Most SaaS headlines describe features. The ones that convert tell you who built it and why it exists. Pieter Levels built Nomad List for himself, just a developer who wanted to travel and work. That specificity is baked real hard into the product's DNA. It's part of why the site has over 100,000 paying members.

Your "why I built this" is sitting above the fold doing nothing. That is a conversion treasure being wasted.

Your Follow-Up Email

A plain-text email from a real founder asking "did this help?" converts at a rate no drip sequence touches. Nathan Barry grew ConvertKit to $25M a year partly on this method. Genuine founder-to-user communication that scales trust without scaling headcount. It’s just one email with a real question, so send it.

Your Public Proof

Pieter posts his MRR publicly on X. That single habit generates press, word of mouth, and inbound that no ad budget could buy. You don't have to post your revenue, but posting one real, specific, uncomfortable truth about building your product does the same work.

Brand compounds like an investment. Skills depreciate. A Python skill from 2018 is worth way less today. A brand you've been building since 2024 is worth more every year.

Naval Ravikant said it plainly: "No one can compete with you on being you." That one's aging real nice.

Want me to find exactly where your product is losing people before you build another feature? That's what the Revenue Leak Map is for.

The fastest-growing repo on GitHub is a one person team!

OpenClaw went from 9K to 185K GitHub stars in 60 days — the fastest-growing repo in history.

Their docs? One person, plus Claude. They scaled to the top 1% of all Mintlify sites, shipping 24 documentation updates a day.

Corking Things Up

Your human brand isn't a content strategy. It's a moat around your growing citadel. The longer you build it, the harder it is to replicate.

Try this: Post one specific, unsexy truth about your product this week. A decision, a $0 month, a pivot you didn't want to make.

If someone replies with their own version of your story. That's the signal. Now you're building a relationship.

Hit reply: What's one real constraint or bet you're living in your business right now that you haven't posted about yet? I read every one.
